Central Contra Costa Sanitary District
Melody LaBella, P.E., has been with the Central Contra Costa Sanitary District since August 2000, currently serving as the Resource Recovery & Development Services Division Manager. Melody has overseen initiatives related to large recycled water projects and has contributed to various roles including Acting Planning & Development Services Division Manager and Resource Recovery Program Manager. Previous positions held include Associate Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Engineering Assistant II, focusing on the Recycled Water Program, planning coordination, and design for sewer rehabilitation and treatment projects. Additionally, Melody served as a Board Member for Mt. View Sanitary District from January 2022 to May 2023. Melody holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from Penn State University.
