We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Director of Measurement/Analytics to lead our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in measurement, analytics, or a related field. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of measurement and analytics strategies to assess and enhance the impact of projects aimed at improving community resilience and mitigating risks associated with natural disasters.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for measurement and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with program objectives and organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive measurement framework to evaluate project outcomes, effectiveness, and impact on community resilience.
  • Lead data analytics efforts to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance, community needs, and disaster risk reduction efforts.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and inform decision-making processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports and dashboards to stakeholders, including project teams, senior management, and funding agencies.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders on measurement and analytics best practices, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including researchers, consultants, and community stakeholders, to leverage data and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous data management and validation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to data collection, privacy, and reporting.

Must have experience and be an expert with PCs, MS Office, Adobe, Google Mail, Citrix Sharefile (or other online platforms), and online meeting platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom

Education:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field required (for example, Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or a related field)
  • Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in measurement, analytics, or related roles, with demonstrated leadership in designing and implementing measurement frameworks and data analytics strategies
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required
  • Expertise in quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods
  • Familiarity with disaster risk reduction, community resilience, or related fields preferred
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of performance management and evaluation methodologies

Work Environment: This position is open to candidates nationwide and is remote with site work as required by customer.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is estimated to be $80,000-180,000/year. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. SRE considers a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. Additionally, SRE adheres to all state and federal requirements regarding salary to ensure compliance with applicable labor laws. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of SRE’s total compensation package for employees.
