Chuck Scherer, CPCU has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Chuck began their career as a Senior Accountant at Ryan Beck & Co., where they provided syndicate accounting for closed-end funds and equity issues. From there, they joined Crum & Forster as a Senior GAAP Accountant, where they prepared financial statements and ensured compliance with accounting standards. Chuck then moved on to Marsh, where they served as Vice President and Senior Account Manager, managing captives and traditional insurance companies and driving business development.

After their time at Marsh, Chuck joined Aon as a Senior Vice President, leading the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) operations in Bermuda. Chuck was responsible for providing outsourced management services for large multinational clients and developing complex insurance programs.

Chuck's most recent role was at Roche Surety and Casualty Co., Inc., where they served as the Controller for a family-owned mono-line casualty insurance company. Chuck oversaw various entities within the holding company structure and played a crucial role in financial management. Chuck is currently working as a Senior Vice President at Strategic Risk Solutions, focusing on Insurance-Linked Securities.

Chuck Scherer, CPCU, earned their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Rutgers Business School in 2002. Chuck then went on to complete their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University from 2004 to 2006. Prior to their higher education, Chuck attended Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School from 1988 to 1991. In addition to their educational achievements, Chuck Scherer also obtained the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) certification from The Institutes-AICPCU in April 2016.
