Chuck Simikian, SHRM-SCP, SPHR

Chuck Simikian, SHRM-SCP, SPHR has over two decades of experience in human resources. Chuck currently serves as the Principal Consultant and Trainer at Alliance HR Partners Consultants, where they offer various HR services to businesses of all sizes. Chuck is responsible for developing customized HR policies, creating employee handbooks for all 50 states, conducting HR compliance training including sexual harassment classes, evaluating recruitment and onboarding experiences, setting up HR departments, conducting HR audits, providing management training, overseeing HR project management, supporting HR systems implementation, assisting with workplace investigations, and handling recruitment and staffing needs. Chuck is also an endorsed HR partner for consulting and training at Employers Association Forum (EAF), providing virtual and in-person HR training classes and offering on-site services for member-requested HR projects.

Chuck has also worked as an HR Task Force Consultant at Strategic Solution Partners and as a Corporate Speaker/Trainer/Seminar Facilitator at Pryor Learning Solutions | Fred Pryor Seminars | CareerTrack.

Prior to their consulting roles, Chuck held HR leadership positions at various companies. Chuck served as the Director of Human Resources at Amazing Pictures/Colorvison International, Inc and as the Corporate Director of Human Resources at Paramount Hospitality Management, LLC. At Nickelodeon Suites Resort, they were the Human Resources Director, responsible for implementing HR strategies and overseeing core HR areas such as staffing and recruiting, training, benefits, employee engagement, and budgeting. Additionally, they served as the Regional Human Resources Director for Brighton Management LLC, handling HR initiatives for hotels outside of California.

Earlier in their career, Chuck worked as the Human Resources Manager (Talent Acquisition and Training) at Ginn Resorts and Development Company, where they supported executives globally and managed the HR functions for 2500 employees across multiple locations. Chuck also served as the Human Resources Director at Westgate Resorts, providing HR support to two resort time-share properties and assisting with staffing, training, employee relations, employment law, compensation, and benefits. At Universal Orlando Resort, they worked as a Human Resources Manager.

Chuck Simikian holds certifications as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Chuck Simikian, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, attended Penn State University from 1982 to 1987 where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. In 2008, they obtained the SPHR - Senior Professional of Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. In 2015, they achieved the SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM. Their most recent certification is the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification, which they obtained in January 2021 from HRCI.
