Luis Torres-Villarreal

Luis Torres-Villarreal has worked in the IT industry since 1997, starting as a Technology Consultant & Advisor at ITESM. Luis then moved to ADRevolution, LLC as Director of IT, Security & Software Development in 2005. In 2012, they joined Perk.com as VP of Information Technology & Security, part of the initial company hires and a member of the core team that helped build the company from the ground up. In 2017, they became Director of Information Security at RhythmOne, followed by Sr. Manager, Global IT Security Operations at Whole Foods Market in 2019. In 2020, they were appointed Director of Technology for Operations and Security, Information Security Officer at b.well Connected Health. Currently, they are the Director of Information Security at Strategic Solutions Group (SSG).

Luis Torres-Villarreal received their B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1996. Luis then went on to obtain their MBA in Information Technology from the same institution in 2001. In 2003, they earned an M.S. in Electronic Commerce from Tecnológico de Monterrey. In November 2021, they obtained an AWS Solutions Architect certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
