Dr. Midas Hampton

Dr. Midas Hampton is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in community development, sustainability, and education. Currently serving as a Board Member for Together SC and the Founding Executive Director of Strategic Spartanburg, Dr. Hampton plays a key role in promoting community-driven initiatives and programs. As an Adjunct Professor at Wofford College, courses taught include Research Methods, Community Sustainability, and Ethnography of Housing. Dr. Hampton co-founded and leads Aristotle Industries while having held various research and leadership positions at Urban Alliance, the University of the District of Columbia, and King County Housing Authority. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Urban Leadership and Entrepreneurship from the University of the District of Columbia, a Master’s in Public Administration and Public Policy from Seattle University, and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina Upstate.
