Jason Cooley

Jason Cooley has served with the Kansas City Missouri Police Department since June 2002, currently fulfilling the role of Community Initiative Officer for the Chief of Police, where responsibilities include coordinating the Community Interaction Officer Program. Cooley has acted as a liaison to various community organizations in multiple patrol divisions, focusing on crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED). Prior experience includes roles as a DARE Officer, teaching drug abuse resistance education to students, and a Patrolman from 1994 to 2002. In addition to police work, Cooley has been an instructor at Strategos International since November 2011, teaching intruder and active shooter response and providing crime prevention support.
