Stacy Hushion is currently a consultant at Strategy. Stacy was previously the Chief of Staff to Councillor Jaye Robinson, Chair of Public Works & Infrastructure for the City of Toronto from September 2015 to July 2017. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning and the general operations of the Councillor’s office, as well as researching and summarizing policy reports and making recommendations to support the Councillor’s strategic objectives and vision. Hushion also oversaw major policy initiatives in which the Councillor has a vested interest, such as the development of the City’s Vision Zero Road Safety Plan.
Hushion has extensive experience in public relations, media relations and communications, both at the city-wide and local level. Stacy has a proven track record in issues and crisis management, as well as constituency relations. Stacy is also an expert in social media outreach, having managed the Councillor’s public outreach via social media, official website, print newsletters (27,000+ households) and electronic newsletters (9,000+ subscribers).
In their previous role at the City of Toronto, Hushion was also responsible for managing the Councillor’s office budget and overseeing the hiring, training and supervision of the staff team.
Stacy Hushion has a certificate in Project Management from the University of Toronto. Stacy also has a PhD in Stacy'story and a Collaborative Program in Jewish Studies from the University of Toronto. In addition, they have a Master of Arts in Stacy'story from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Stacy'story and Psychology from York University.
Stacy Hushion reports to Elan Harper, Vice President. They are on a team with Kailey Vokes - Consultant, Terry Young - Senior Advisor, and Martin Rust - Senior Advisor.
