Jacob James

Actor, Director, Teaching Artist at Stratford Festival

Jacob James has a diverse work experience in the field of acting, directing, and teaching. Jacob started as an Acting Student at Birmingham conservatory at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2002. Following this, they worked as a Shakespeare Monologue Coach in 2007. In 2011, Jacob moved on to become a Professor of Acting at St. Lawrence College. Additionally, they have experience as an Actor, Director, and Teaching Artist at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

Jacob James has a diverse education history in the performing arts. Jacob graduated from the National Theatre School in 2002 with a degree in Acting, followed by the Birmiingham Conservatory at The Stratford Shakespeare Festival in 2003. Jacob then completed a Teaching Artist Certificate at York University in 2008 before finishing their education at The Second City Conservatory in 2009, focusing on Improv and Sketch.
