Trent Filthaut

Trent Filthaut has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Trent served as an IT Portfolio Lead at Strathcona County since November 2016. Trent was responsible for building and maintaining relationships between Information Technology Services and Strathcona County Emergency Services/Enforcement Services. Prior to that, they worked at PCL Construction as an IT Manager/Senior IT Project Manager for nine years, overseeing the implementation of the Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud system. Trent also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Fujitsu Consulting, where they managed a team of IT professionals providing software development and support services. Trent has a background in systems analysis and development, having held roles as a Systems Analyst at LGS Group, ISL, and Banks-Hill Systems, and as a Systems Analyst at Alberta Education. Trent'sexpertise includes project management, strategic planning, team management, and client relations.

Trent Filthaut pursued their education starting in 1988, where they attended the University of Regina. Trent completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production, which spanned from 1988 to 1992.

In 1994, Trent enrolled at NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) for their Computer Systems Technology program. This program lasted for a year, and they completed it in 1995.

Furthermore, Trent has obtained additional certifications. In October 2016, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. Additionally, they earned the Oracle Certified Professional certification, although the exact timeframe for this certification achievement is not provided.
