Dave Mills

Dave Mills has extensive work experience in the oil and gas industry. Dave is currently working as a Senior Facilities Engineer at Strathcona Resources Ltd. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Operations Engineer at Tidewater Midstream and Infrastructure Ltd. Dave also had experience as an Infrastructure & Operations Engineer at Pipestone Energy Corp and as a Manager, Facilities Engineering at Blackbird Energy Inc., Mosaic Energy Ltd, Crew Energy Inc, and Canetic Resources Inc. Dave's earlier roles include being a Staff Facilities Engineer at ConocoPhillips, a Project Engineer at Optima Engineers and Constructors, Inc., and a Principal Process Engineer at KBR/Granherne. Throughout their career, Dave has been responsible for facility engineering activities, including project development, design, construction, and troubleshooting. Dave has also worked closely with various teams and outside engineering companies to ensure the smooth operation and integration of facilities and pipelines.

Dave Mills attended the University of Waterloo from 1979 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International and as a P. Eng from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).
