Heather Ray

Heather Ray has a strong background in accounting and operations, with experience in various companies within the energy industry.

Most recently, Heather worked as a Marketing Accountant at Strathcona Resources Ltd. starting in 2022.

Prior to that, they served as an Operations Accountant at Steel Reef from 2020 to 2022.

From 2018 to 2019, Heather worked as an Accountant, Revenue - Alliance Pipeline at Pembina Pipeline Corporation. Heather'sresponsibilities included revenue account reconciliations, invoice processing, variance analysis, and cash forecasting, among other duties. Heather also worked as a Measurement Analyst during this time, handling daily measurement verification, error correction, and reporting.

Before Pembina Pipeline, Heather worked as a Gas and Revenue Accountant at Alliance Pipeline from 2015 to 2018. Heather'sduties were similar to those at Pembina, including revenue account reconciliations, billing processes, and variance analysis. Heather also worked as a Measurement Analyst during this time.

Prior to their roles at Pembina and Alliance Pipeline, Heather held positions at Pembina Pipeline Corporation as a Field Facility Administrator from 2014 to 2015, Gibson's Energy as a Coordinator Product Traffic / Dispatcher from 2012 to 2014, Penn West Exploration as a Team Lead from 2011 to 2012, Talisman Energy Inc as a Field Production Accountant from 2008 to 2011, Husky Energy as a Production Analyst / Field Production Accountant from 2003 to 2008, and Craig Powell Professional Corp as an Accounting Assistant in 2003.

Heather Ray earned a Certificate in Financial Accounting for Production Accountants from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) from 2016 to 2017. Heather also holds a Diploma in CAPPA Production Accounting from SAIT, which they obtained from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Heather has completed a program in Administrative Technologies with a focus on Computerized Accounting from Grande Prairie Regional College, which they completed in 2002.
