Vahid Khoshkava

Vahid Khoshkava has a diverse range of work experience in the fields of AI, signal processing, and research. Vahid currently holds the position of Lead AI/Signal Processing Scientist at Noze since October 2022.

Prior to this, Vahid worked as an Entrepreneur at TandemLaunch Inc. from March 2022 to September 2022. Their responsibilities included scouting and evaluating university inventions for potential deep-tech startup opportunities, conducting technical due diligence, and providing research and product roadmaps.

From January 2018 to December 2021, Vahid served as a Senior Research Scientist at Immersion Corporation. During this time, they applied signal processing, statistics, and machine learning techniques in various projects. Vahid also led the design and development of a smart multimodal haptic structure for AR/VR and initiated open innovation projects in collaboration with external partners.

Prior to this role, Vahid worked as a Research Scientist at Immersion Corporation from August 2014 to December 2017. In this position, they demonstrated expertise in designing, fabricating, and characterizing smart material actuators. Vahid also led the design and development of flexible electro-active actuators for textile applications and advanced graspable VR/Gaming controllers. Additionally, Vahid employed multiphysics simulation techniques to enhance actuator performance and optimize designs.
