Deniz A. Johnson

Deniz A. Johnson has a long and varied work experience. In 1998, they began their career as a Senior Project Manager at Mayo Clinic. In 2000, they moved to Pegasystems as an Internal Applications Manager. In 2005, they joined Cognition Financial as a Program Manager and Acadian Asset Management as Senior Vice President, Director of Shared Services. In 2014, they founded and became Principal at Pera-Partners, LLC. In 2015, they joined State Street as Managing Director, Alternative Investment Solutions. In 2019, they became Chief Operating Officer at Stratyfy and a Member of the Board of Directors at Unytalk. In 2020, they began teaching Fintech and Financial Innovation as Adjunct Faculty at Northeastern University. In 2022, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at BlockBeam.

Deniz A. Johnson holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Management Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, and is a graduate of \u00dcsk\u00fcdar Amerikan Lisesi / \u00dcsk\u00fcdar American Academy. Johnson also holds certifications as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner, obtained in February 2018, and as a Project Management Professional (PMP)\u00ae, obtained in January 2005.
