Senior Demand Generation Manager, Strava For Business

Operations · London, United Kingdom

Job description

About This Role

Strava is the leading digital community for active people with more than 125 million athletes, in more than 190 countries. The platform offers a holistic view of your active lifestyle, no matter where you live, which sport you love and/or what device you use. Everyone belongs on Strava when they are pursuing an active life.

Our Strava for Business team works with brands wanting to engage with the Strava community, delivering an innovative and exciting alternative to standard advertising channels and formats.

As a Demand Generation Manager, you will be working to build awareness and consideration of Strava as a marketing channel to leading brands and their agencies across the world.

You are an expert in building and capturing demand across organic and paid channels, working as a self-starter, with team members and cross-functional partners, as well as managing selected agencies and contractors.

Strava has a positive and supportive culture - we are looking for inquisitive, humble, hard working and collaborative teammates who are able to balance short and long term goals to help our team hit challenging revenue targets, and inspire our brands and users to get more active.

This role is based in London, UK.

  • Manage external agencies and freelancers to maximise the standard of their output

You will be successful here by:

  • Driving real, measurable growth for our team through marketing initiatives with organic and paid media
  • Successfully prioritising which activities and initiatives drive growth both in the short and medium term
  • Driving initiatives as a self-starter with minimal supervision
  • Not being afraid of change or failure: creating initiatives from scratch that may not work but can drive positive outcomes
  • Showing a clear understanding of how to measure marketing initiatives in an imperfect world and measure return on investment
  • Continuously working to improve our data collection and management processes to help inform our future marketing decisions
  • Solving ambiguous problems with minimal supervision

  • You are a lateral thinker and a problem solver at heart
  • You are very comfortable with Hubspot (or similar other CRMs)
