Kausthub Poondi

Kausthub Poondi is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in Data Platform at Strava since July 2021, where responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of a reliable data platform and services for internal consumers, alongside co-leading the Pan Asians Employee Resource Group. Prior experience at Nike from August 2019 to July 2021 involved roles in Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning, Operational Intelligence and Tools, Activity and Innovation, and Corporate Information Security, utilizing Python and Scala for various data engineering and automation projects. Kausthub also completed internships at Nike and Blackbaud, focusing on developer enablement, authentication, and Agile-Scrum methodologies. Kausthub holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, earned between 2015 and 2019.
