Michael Gerdov

Michael Gerdov, PE, currently serves as the Engineering Manager at Stream Data Centers, overseeing the engineering team responsible for designing data center campuses and substations since July 2022. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Principal Engineer at Protech Systems, Ltd, where responsibilities included preparing arc flash and short circuit coordination studies. As a Senior Electrical Engineer at Amazon Web Services from September 2015 to February 2020, Michael specialized in high voltage substations and medium voltage switchgear, leading strategic planning for large-scale projects. Michael's earlier experience encompasses roles at Commonwealth Edison, Sargent & Lundy LLC, and various engineering internships, all contributing to a strong foundation in electrical engineering. Michael earned a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
