Mike Armstrong

Chief Financial Officer & MD, Investments at Stream Data Centers

Mike joined Stream in 2020 to expand its investment practice and build new business initiatives. He brings dynamic and diversified experience in real estate and real assets investing including acquisitions, asset management, mezzanine debt origination, and new business development.

Most recently, Mike was managing partner of Percheron Real Estate Partners, a partnership he co-founded to focus on building differentiated investment strategies in hybrid office, industrial and mixed-use properties. Previously, he led and co-led acquisitions for GI Partners’ technology real estate platform where he was a key contributor in building a large portfolio of data center, life science, office, and industrial assets across the United States. While at GI, Mike personally led approximately $1.3 billion in transactions. Formerly, he was a Vice President at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he held acquisitions and investment roles in real estate and infrastructure in both its Global Real Assets division and its Junius Real Estate Partners division. Early in his career, he worked for Financial Security Assurance Inc., a financial guaranty company.

Mike is a graduate of Harvard College and received his master’s in business from Stanford Graduate School of Business. Additionally, he is a member of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association (CAIA®) and holds the globally recognized credential for professionals managing, analyzing, distributing, or regulating alternative investments.
