Chris Connelly Ph.D.

Chris Connelly Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the fields of research and development, scientific management, and marketing. Chris began their career as a Summer Intern at Pfizer in 2000, where they conducted quality control testing of chemicals. Chris then worked as a Research Scientist at MDS Pharma Services (Celerion) from 2002 to 2003. In 2003, they joined Novartis Consumer Health as an Analytical Chemist I. From 2004 to 2010, Chris served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, focusing on protein-protein interactions and gene expression. During this time, they also interned at UNeMed Corporation, gaining experience in conducting prior art searches and preparing marketing plans. Since 2010, Chris has been working at Streck, initially as a Research and Development Scientist and later as the Research and Development Scientific Manager and Director of R&D - Molecular Division. In these roles, they have been responsible for designing and executing scientific studies for product improvement and new product development in the clinical diagnostic market, utilizing various methods such as PCR, cell culture, and mass spectrometry.

Chris Connelly Ph.D. attended Lincoln Pius X High School from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a high school diploma. Subsequently, they enrolled at Nebraska Wesleyan University from 1998 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Continuing their education, Connelly pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 2004 to 2010.
