Ross James

Head of Products & Partnerships at StreetDrone

Ross James has worked in various roles for several organizations since 2011. Ross began their career as an Assistant Design Engineer for AeroThermal Group in 2011. In 2012, they interned as a Vehicle Safety Delivery Undergraduate for Jaguar Land Rover. In 2014, they joined Jaguar Land Rover as a Graduate Product Development Engineer, where they were responsible for insuring a new vehicle met legal and consumer safety targets. Ross also served as a Lead Vehicle Safety Project Engineer and Vehicle Safety Delivery Engineer, where they utilized project management techniques and led cross-functional working groups. Additionally, they were a Foundation Ambassador for the James Dyson Foundation, where they ran workshops in local secondary schools to encourage more younger people into design and engineering. In 2019, they joined StreetDrone as a Program Manager and Lead Safety Engineer - Autonomous Deployment.

Ross James obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Design Engineering from Bournemouth University between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed A Levels in Product Design, Maths, and Physics at Okehampton College between 2003 and 2010. Ross is also an IPMA Certified Project Management Associate from the Association for Project Management.
