Tom Bakewell

Tom Bakewell has a strong work experience in the real estate industry. Tom started their career at Phoenix Capital Partners in 2001 as an Asset Manager. In 2002, they joined Gables Residential as a Regional Vice President of Investments, where they worked until 2011. Tom then joined StreetLights Residential in 2011 as the President of Development, and later became the Chief Investment Officer in January 2022. Their expertise spans asset management, regional vice presidency, and leadership roles in development and investment.

Tom Bakewell completed their BBA degree in Finance/Real Estate and Economics from Southern Methodist University from 1990 to 1994. Tom later pursued an MBA from the Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 1997 to 1999.
