India Amos

India Amos has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Beginning in 2007, Amos worked as an Art Director for Nextbook, Inc., focusing on creating, selecting, and commissioning artwork and animations for an online magazine. From 2011 to 2013, Amos held multiple roles at F+W Media, Inc., including eBook Developer and Digital Production ePub QA Associate, where they evaluated and rebuilt instructional e-books and researched advances in e-book technology.

In 2013, Amos became Managing Editor at Bloom, where they oversaw editorial production. They then moved on to CN Times Books as a Managing Editor in print and digital production. At CN Times Books, Amos managed all aspects of production and cut costs by bringing design and typesetting in-house.

In 2014, Amos worked as a Senior Content Producer at Amplify, where they produced e-books for digital curricula and supervised a team of content producers. From 2016 to 2017, Amos was a Digital Media Producer at The Museum of Modern Art, where they executed data entry and basic web development tasks, trained content producers, and collaborated on cross-departmental projects.

In 2017, Amos joined Fullstack Academy as a Teaching Fellow, guiding students and conducting technical interviews. They then worked as a Digital and Print Production Professional at Amperbang LLC, providing freelance production, design, and editorial services for various clients.

Currently, Amos is a Lead Consulting Software Developer at Stride Consulting, having progressed from Senior Consulting Software Developer. They have been involved in full-stack development and worked on a cross-functional team building an iOS and web app for a restaurant reservation startup.

India Amos attended Fullstack Academy in 2017, where they completed the Grace Hopper Program focused on Full-stack Javascript. Prior to that, they studied at New York University from 2008 to 2010 in the Interactive Telecommunications Program. India completed their undergraduate education at Williams College from 1987 to 1991, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with magna cum laude honors. Their major was English, with a concentration in Women's Studies. Additionally, in May 2018, India obtained a certification in "Adobe XD: Design a Website" from LinkedIn.
