Melissa Wahnish

Melissa Wahnish has a diverse work experience. Melissa is currently working as a Senior Consulting Software Developer at Stride Consulting since July 2018. Prior to this, they co-founded and served as the CTO at One From Zero starting from March 2015. From July 2016 to August 2020, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at HealthKick. Melissa also has a background in content development and mentoring, as they founded RubyThursday in March 2015, where they provided tutorials and courses for junior Rails developers. In addition, they worked as an Actor/ Voice artist until July 2018, a Co-Founder and CTO at Aarting from September 2012 to December 2015, and a Fellow at the Startup Leadership Program from September 2014 to May 2015. Melissa has also worked as an independent consultant at TableHoppingNY.com from July 2012 to January 2015, as a QA Specialist at Gina's Ink, Incorporated from October 2011 to January 2013, and as an Associate Director at Aarting Collection from May 2010 to September 2012.

Melissa Wahnish completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Acting from Marymount Manhattan College from 1997 to 2001. In 2013, they attended General Assembly to study Ruby on Rails, however, the end year for this education is not provided.
