Jay Fredericks has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and IT infrastructure. Jay is currently the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at Stride, Inc., where they are responsible for technology standards, digital transformation, and revitalizing the enterprise architecture practice.

Before joining Stride, Jay worked as an Information Technology Consultant at Antero Advisors LLC, where they supported the launch of a comprehensive technology transformation for an education technology provider.

Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Global IT Infrastructure and Operations at Caesars Entertainment Corporation. In this role, they led a team of 400+ employees and established digital infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities.

Earlier in their career, Jay worked at Delta Air Lines, Inc. as the Vice President - IT Infrastructure and Reliability, overseeing a large IT infrastructure and operations organization. Jay also worked at Northwest Airlines, Inc. as a Managing Director, Director, and in various other roles, where they were responsible for IT division planning, airline operations decision support, and technology solutions for international business units.

Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated expertise in driving technology transformations, establishing digital infrastructure and cybersecurity capabilities, and delivering reliable IT operations.

Jay Fredericks has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. Prior to attending Purdue, Jay graduated from Smoky Hill High School. In addition to their formal education, Jay has obtained several certifications, including AWS Fundamentals from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020, Continuous Delivery and DevOps from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business in April 2020, and a Business Foundation Specialization from The Wharton School.
