David Tweedy has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. David started their career at The Money Store - UK as an Executive Director Operations and IT in 1997. David then moved on to Platform Home Loans - Cabot Square Capital and Platform Home Loans - Britannia Building Society as a Managing Director from 1999 to 2009.
From 2009 to 2012, David worked as a Business Leader - Platform at The Co-operative Banking Group. David then joined Ulster Bank - Ireland as a Director - Arrears Support Unit from 2012 to 2013, where they were responsible for managing mortgage arrears operations.
David's next role was at Target Group as a Director - Market Relations from 2014 to 2015. David'sresponsibilities included monitoring market trends, understanding customer requirements, and identifying business opportunities.
In 2015, David became the Chief Executive Officer at Belmont Green Finance Limited and held the position until 2020. David then pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and became a Qualified Teacher at Teach SouthEast from 2020 to 2021.
Following this, David served as the Chief Executive Officer - heylo mortgages, a start-up company, from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Operating Officer at StrideUp.
David Tweedy received their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and History from Princeton University, where they attended from 1977 to 1981. David furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University, which they attended from 1982 to 1983. Later in their career, in 2009 to 2010, they pursued professional development in the field of leadership by completing the Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring program at the Institute of Leadership and Management.
