Andrea van Scheltinga

Andrea van Scheltinga has a strong background in product management and leadership roles. Andrea is currently working as a Product Lead at Stripe since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Stripe as a Product Manager from 2020 to 2022, where they led the company's expansion in the EMEA region, including launching Stripe in the Middle East and new European markets. Before joining Stripe, Andrea worked at Google as Chief of Staff for Google Cloud in 2018-2019, and as a Product Manager from 2014 to 2018. During their tenure at Google, they were responsible for the vision, execution, and launch of important software projects such as Google Assistant for Smart Displays and Google Flights. Andrea also has experience as a Researcher at the KwaZulu-Natal Research Institute for TB-HIV (K-RITH) in 2012.

Andrea van Scheltinga pursued their education at various prestigious institutions. Andrea started by obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics & Computer Science from Harvard University between 2011 and 2015. Andrea then attended ETH Zürich in 2014 and 2015, where they studied Computer Science. Later on, they decided to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at INSEAD from 2019 to 2020.
