Laxmi Keshote

Head of Risk, APAC at Stripe

Laxmi Keshote is currently the Head of Risk for APAC at Stripe. Prior to this, they worked as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs from May 2013 to November 2019. During their time at Goldman Sachs, they were responsible for the design and optimization of key liquidity and treasury management metrics to monitor and assess risks across funding, ALM, capital, and the balance sheet of the firm. Laxmi also worked extensively in liquidity risk management functions and metrics such as the Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Net Stable Funding Ratio, and Intraday Risk.

Laxmi has also worked with global risk management teams to analyze and gain a deep understanding of risk insights and metrics. Laxmi has been involved in projects for the implementation of liquidity risk management decisions and has interpreted and advocated for Basel Regulatory requirements for liquidity and funding rules for banks, including the Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) and Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR). In addition, they have performed impact analysis of liquidity risk including regulations on various businesses and has optimized businesses and the firm overall.

Laxmi Keshote has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Finance from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Engineering from Jaypee University of Information Technology.
