Mehran Mirkazemi

Mehran Mirkazemi is an accomplished engineering executive with extensive experience in product development and project management within the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Global Engineering at ID TECH since January 2020, Mirkazemi leads a team in creating innovative solutions that simplify integration for customers. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Director of Engineering at Verifone from 2001 to January 2019, where Mirkazemi managed a skilled engineering team focused on point-of-sale platforms, overseeing the entire product development lifecycle. Mirkazemi also served as Research and Development Manager at Thryon Limited, leading development of handheld mobile payment terminals, and as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Heriot-Watt University, conducting advanced research in motor control systems. Mirkazemi holds a PhD and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
