Sharan Ramjee

Sharan Ramjee is an experienced professional currently serving as an AI Fellow at Bain Capital Ventures since June 2024 and as a Machine Learning Engineer at Stripe since July 2022, where notable contributions include building foundation models for large language models (LLMs) and leading the development of Scorpion, a time-series transformer for fraud detection, resulting in significant cost savings. Prior experiences include research roles and teaching assistantships at Stanford University, internships at prominent organizations such as Google, Qualcomm, and Palo Alto Networks, and a background in machine learning and artificial intelligence with a Master's degree from Stanford University and a Bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
