Steven Byrd, MBA, CSM has over 25 years of work experience, with expertise in project management, consulting, and process optimization.

Steven is currently working as a Consultant and Senior IT Project Manager at Strive Consulting, LLC, where they manage and directs high-profile IT projects. Steven has been responsible for reestablishing project planning methodologies, financial management, and incorporating advanced project efforts.

Prior to that, Steven worked as a Principal Project & Program Manager, Consultant at Enercon Services, Inc., where they directed fleet regulatory projects/programs for various clients. Steven managed a portfolio of $10MM to $20MM in programs and projects.

Steven also served as a Senior Project & Program Manager at Exelon Corporation, where they provided consulting and engineering services for the power generation industry. Steven maintained clearances and worked for Demark and Lutech resources under Exelon Corporation.

Steven has a diverse experience in project management, having worked as a Project Manager at Ambitech Engineering and as a Senior Consultant at Trice Construction Company. In these roles, they managed engineering infrastructure, design modification initiatives, and concrete/asphalt construction projects.

Furthermore, Steven has a background in healthcare project management as well. Steven has served as the Director of Project Management & Systems Engineering at Mercy Hospital & Medical Center. Steven developed lean work process system improvements, mentored hospital directors, and saved costs through process optimization.

Earlier in their career, Steven worked in various roles at Exelon Corporation in project management and operations. Steven led cross-functional project teams, mentored project managers, developed Corporate Business Services PMO, and supported procurement functions across multiple power generation sites.

Steven Byrd, MBA, CSM has a diverse education history. Steven attended Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management from 1999 to 2001, where they obtained an Executive MBA. In 2019, they pursued further education in Agile-Scrum and completed a Certification in CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) from COMNet Group Inc. Later that same year, they also obtained a Certification in DevOps from Simplilearn Alumni. Additionally, Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University, which they completed in 1985. In August 2019, they obtained the Certified DevOps Practitioner certification from Simplilearn, and in March 2019, they attained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) designation from Scrum Alliance.
