Dr. Kristen Marjama

Dr. Kristen Marjama has extensive work experience in various roles related to clinical informatics, education, and healthcare. Dr. Kristen is currently the VP of Clinical Informatics at Strive Health, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Director of Clinical Informatics at the same company from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Marjama also held the position of Director of Clinical Informatics & Education at Strive Health from 2020 to 2021.

Before joining Strive Health, Dr. Marjama worked as a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Educator at Walgreens Healthcare Clinic from 2008 to 2015. Dr. Kristen was responsible for providing patient care and educational support in multiple regions.

Dr. Marjama also worked at Walmart as the Director of Learning & Development from 2019 to 2020, where they were involved in the development of education modules and training sessions for healthcare providers. Dr. Kristen also served as the Manager of Clinic Education and Development at Walmart from 2015 to 2019, focusing on patient engagement and satisfaction. In this role, they were responsible for EHR development and customization to enhance clinical utilization and quality assurance.

Additionally, Dr. Marjama has experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Broward Health from 2000 to 2010, and as a Registered Nurse at a Hospital System from 1996 to 2000. Dr. Kristen has also served as a Professional Speaker for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners from 2014 to 2020 and as an Editorial Board Member for Contemporary Clinic from 2015 to 2023.

Throughout their career, Dr. Kristen Marjama has demonstrated expertise in clinical informatics, education, and patient care, making their a valuable asset in the healthcare industry.

Dr. Kristen Marjama received their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Cedarville University in 1996. Dr. Kristen then pursued their Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner from Barry University, completing it in 1999. Later, they obtained their Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama in 2015. Dr. Kristen Marjama holds a certification as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
