Dawn Gallardo-Romero

Dawn Gallardo-Romero has worked in the field of higher education for over 20 years. Dawn began their career as a financial aid counselor at Regis University in 2000. In 2003, they joined the Daniels Fund as a student financial services manager and scholarship relations officer. In 2006, they began working for the Colorado Department of Higher Education as a GEAR UP pre-collegiate advisor and GEAR UP college advisor. In 2016, they joined the University of Colorado Boulder as a pre-collegiate summer program instructor. Currently, they are the alumni support manager at STRIVE Prep. Throughout their career, Dawn has been committed to helping students navigate the college admissions process and access financial aid resources.

Dawn Gallardo-Romero has a Master's degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Regis University, and a Bachelor of Arts - BA from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Their manager is Ali Springer, Director of College Access. They work with Allyson Gunn - College Access and Alumni Support Coordinator, Vacancy - Career Exploration & Internship Coordinator.
