John Merrifield

John Merrifield has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. John founded Crowned Co in 2020 and currently holds the position of Founder. In the same year, they joined STRIVR as Head of Brand & Business Development and also served as Director of Product Marketing until 2022.

Continuing their professional journey, they joined Cook Children's Health Care System in 2022 as a Member of the Board of Trustees. John has been an Advisory Board Member for EarBuds since 2017. In 2021, they became an Advisor for Precise TV until 2022.

Prior to these roles, they worked at ZEFR, where they served as Global Director of Market Expansion from 2018 to 2020 and as Director of Product/Brand Marketing from 2017 to 2018. John also has a significant work experience at Google, starting as an Inside Sales Account Executive for Google Cloud in 2013 and later becoming a Product Marketing Manager for Google Apps from 2015 to 2017. In addition, they held the role of Project Lead for Google for Work Inside Sales from 2014 to 2015 and worked as a YouTube Host for Google for Work, co-hosting a YouTube series with over 80 episodes and generating over 1.5 million views.

John'searlier experiences include working as a Sales Manager at Marriott International from 2011 to 2013 and participating in the Management Training Program at JW Marriott Chicago in 2011. John also served as a Music Manager for Recording Artist Mindy Gledhill at Blue Morph Music from 2010 to 2011. Furthermore, they worked as a News and Sports Reporter for NBC News Channel 6; KPVI; Idaho Falls, Idaho from 2007 to 2009.

John Merrifield completed their Bachelor's degree in Communication/PR from Brigham Young University - Idaho between 2007 and 2010. In 2014, they attended Stanford Continuing Studies to study Tools for Strategic Management, although they did not obtain a degree from this program. Prior to that, they attended Texas Christian University from 2004 to 2005 to study Radio/Television/Film, but did not complete a degree.
