Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Strohm

Haralambos Alkiviades has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Haralambos began their career in 2009 with military service in Cyprus. In 2016, they joined Aristotle Racing Team as a Frame Group Member, where they were responsible for designing and manufacturing vehicle parts using composite materials.

In 2017, Haralambos became a member of BEST Delft, an organization focused on improving engineering education. Haralambos'srole involved contributing to various projects and activities.

Moving ahead, from 2018 to 2019, Haralambos worked at Airborne, initially as an intern and later for their graduation project. Haralambos'sinternship involved gaining theoretical knowledge about thermoplastic composites and manufacturing processes, as well as learning software tools like Abaqus FEM, Matlab, and Python programming. Haralambos'sgraduation project focused on residual stresses in thermoplastic composites and utilized machine learning techniques.

From 2019 to 2021, they joined CarbonX B.V. as an Application Developer Engineer, gaining hands-on experience with laboratory material manufacturing techniques in the thermoplastic and thermoset industries. This involved working with extrusion, injection molding, and mixing thermosetting techniques.

Currently, Haralambos is employed at Strohm, starting in 2021. Haralambos initially held the role of Composite Development Engineer before transitioning to the role of Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Further details about their responsibilities and achievements in these roles are not provided.

Haralambos Alkiviades obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) from 2011 to 2017. Haralambos then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Materials Science and Engineering at Delft University of Technology from 2017 to 2019.
