Petr Matousek

Petr Matousek serves as the Chief Technical Officer and Branch Director at SZÚ – Engineering Test Institute since September 2020, overseeing branch operations and reporting to the General Director. Prior to this role, Petr held the position of Regulatory and Safety Engineer at Bobcat EMEA from May 2012 to September 2020, where responsibilities included ensuring global compliance of products with safety principles and managing product certifications. Earlier experience includes engineering roles at Magna Steyr, focusing on stress analysis, and at Advanced Engineering s.r.o., engaging in crash test simulations. Petr began the professional career as a trainee at Bobcat Company, providing administrative support for road homologations and reviews of new standards. Petr holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Czech Technical University in Prague and completed the General Management Program at TC Business School.
