Chris Aavang

Chris Aavang has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. Chris is currently working as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Strong Analytics since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SPINS from May 2019 to November 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer. At SPINS, they were involved in ingesting and processing large datasets from data providers and making the data available to internal teams.

Before their role at SPINS, Chris worked at STATS LLC from July 2013 to May 2019 as a Software Developer III. During their time at STATS, they developed utilities for clients and maintained software and websites used by company employees. Chris also built and supported applications that covered the full flow of data, from ingestion to output.

Chris Aavang received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Chris attended the university from 2008 to 2013.
