Chief Technical Advisor at Strong Towns

Edward Erfurt is the Director of Community Action at Strong Towns, a nonprofit organization that analyzes the failures of North American development patterns and empowers citizens to improve their communities. Previously, Edward worked as the Assistant City Manager for Community Development at the City of Ranson, where Edward helped increase permits and private investment. Edward also served as an Urban Designer at Martin County Board of County Commissioners, contributing to expedited permit reviews and redevelopment projects. With a background in architecture and urban design, Edward has experience in creating community visions, master plans, and promoting walkable neighborhoods.
