About

The Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) is an international, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to solving the three-dimensional structures of proteins of therapeutic interest. The SGC was founded in 2001 by a group of scientists from academia and industry with the goal of making a significant impact on human health by providing the scientific community with tools and resources that would enable the structure-based design of new drugs. The SGC is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with nodes in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States. The SGC Board of Directors is composed of representatives from academia, industry, and government.
