Omar Morsy

Omar Morsy has a diverse range of work experience in HR and talent acquisition roles. Omar is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at STRYDE, a position they have held since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of People at STRYDE from May 2020 to April 2022.

Before joining STRYDE, Omar was the Head of People at MarcoPolo Learning, a children's media app business, where they played a crucial role in building and driving the team's growth through multiple rounds of funding from June 2017 to April 2020.

Omar also worked as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition at MPC, the world's largest visual effects studio, from April 2015 to May 2017. Omar was brought in to bring fresh perspective and improve the talent acquisition process in the industry.

Earlier in their career, Omar served as the Talent Lead at DigitasLBi, a global marketing and technology agency, from August 2013 to April 2015. Omar was responsible for media recruitment and led a team in finding and attracting top industry talent.

Omar also worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager at Reed Elsevier, partnering with designated business units to provide recruitment services and ensure a positive candidate experience, from March 2013 to August 2013.

Omar's earlier roles include Senior Resourcing Consultant at BBC, Marketing & Communications Consultant at Hudson, Marketing Talent Consultant at Aquent Marketing Staffing, and Talent Consultant at Venn Group.

Omar Morsy completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Human Resource Management from Birkbeck, University of London in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons 2:2) degree in Marketing from the University of Lincoln in 2004.
