Roger Padrós Potrony

Roger Padrós Potrony has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Roger started their career as an intern at SSL International (Durex) in 2006, where they focused on machinery validations, technical documentation, and CAD drawings. In 2007, they interned at Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya in the Projects Department, followed by an internship in the Maintenance Department in 2008.

In 2010, Roger joined Applus (LGAI) as an intern in the Mechanical Testing Laboratory. Roger then moved on to GESTAMP in 2011, where they served as a Product Testing Engineer in the R&D automotive center. In this role, they were responsible for conducting various tests, including fatigue, static, crash, vibration, and modal analysis tests for client product validation and internal design verification.

From 2016 to 2022, Roger worked as a Mechanical Engineer at HP (Hewlett Packard) within the Large Format Printers division at the Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) site. Here, they played a role in continuous improvement processes, cost reduction projects, field escalations, and client customizations. Roger'stasks included mechanical design utilizing CREO software for 3D CAD and 2D drawings.

Most recently, Roger is employed at STRYDE as a Mechanical Engineer starting from 2023.

Roger Padrós Potrony began their education in 2004 at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Roger completed this program in 2007. In 2008, Roger continued their studies at the same university and enrolled in the Industrial Engineering Master's program, specializing in Industrial Engineering. Roger completed this program in 2010.

Additionally, in 2008, Roger briefly attended Lodz University of Technology, where they focused on Engineering. The following year, they also spent a period at Slovenská technická univerzita v Bratislave, furthering their studies in Engineering. However, no specific degrees were attained during these short stints at the respective universities.
