Luís Silva

Luís Silva has a strong background in platform engineering and cloud architecture. Their most recent role was as the Senior Director of Platform Engineering at Stuart. Prior to that, they held various leadership positions at DAZN, including VP of Engineering and Head of Cloud Engineering. Additionally, Luís has experience as a founder and director of L'CloudTech Limited. Luís has also worked at companies such as Sky, vVoosh, EE, Orange Digital UK, News International, Cloudreach Limited, and Adclick, Lda, where they held engineering and devops roles. Throughout their career, Luís has demonstrated a focus on cloud technology and systems development.

Luís Silva completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in the years 2004 to 2009. Luís also obtained a certification in MCC - Multi Crew Coordination in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology, General from FSB Flugschule Berlin GmbH in 2012. Additionally, they earned a degree in airline/commercial/professional pilot and flight crew (fATPL(A)) from Nortávia in the years 2009 to 2011. Apart from their education, they have obtained several certifications related to cloud computing and development from Amazon Web Services and Google.
