Jared Brenner

Jared Brenner serves as Senior Counsel at Stubbs Alderton & Markiles, LLP, providing legal advice to tech companies and investors across various aspects of growth, including venture capital financing, intellectual property licensing, and mergers and acquisitions. As a Board Member at Songwriters of North America, Jared oversees governance and advocates for copyright reform and social justice for professional songwriters. Previously, Jared held the role of General Counsel at True Advance, managing legal affairs and leading M&A for a startup focused on underrepresented talent. Jared has a diverse legal background that includes positions at WilmerHale, the Brooklyn Law Incubator & Policy Clinic, and DEFY Media, and has contributed to legal education as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Brooklyn Law School. Jared earned a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in History from The George Washington University.
