Craig Duarte

Craig Duarte is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development and backend engineering. Currently serving as a Backend Engineer at Pion since August 2020, Craig specializes in Ruby on Rails within a microservices architecture, utilizing both GraphQL and REST APIs. Prior to this role, Craig was a Full Stack Developer at Nourish Care Systems from April 2017 to August 2020, where responsibilities included developing and maintaining a SaaS product using Ruby on Rails, AngularJS, and various database technologies. Craig’s earlier positions include Web Developer roles at Fathom, Beetleweb Ltd, and an internship at Beetleweb Ltd, all focusing on PHP and JavaScript. Craig's career began with a receptionist position at St James's House, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree in Computing from Bournemouth University.
