Yukta Sharma

Yukta Sharma is an aspiring environmental engineer with experience as an Environmental/Plant Science Research Intern at the University of Wyoming, where research focused on the environmental impacts of coal mining and plant preservation. Responsibilities included conducting experiments aimed at enhancing plant resilience to adverse conditions and collaborating with academic professionals utilizing advanced research techniques like drone mapping. Previously, Yukta served as an Instructor at Kumon North America, Inc., facilitating personalized lesson plans in math and English, and supporting early childhood education. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Yukta has also studied at The University of Georgia and participated in dual enrollment at Georgia State University while completing secondary education at Chattahoochee High School.
