Student Parliament of the Cracow University of Economics (PSUEK) is the legal body of the student government with its primary role to represent the interests of all students to the authorities of the largest economic university in Central and Eastern Europe. PSUEK also has a great impact on the daily life of students by supporting scientific, cultural, and sports activities. Our representatives take part in the University Senate and Institute committees. In our daily activities, we focus on supporting all student organizations. We also co-decide on the allocation of funds for the students in need from the aid fund and on the regulations of the aid fund statute. PSUEK also sits on the Scholarship Committee. We ensure the protection of basic student rights, the increase in the quality of education, and the attractiveness of our university. What creates students' life are our projects. We start the academic year with "Świeżak" (Freshman)- an adaptive camp for first-year students. In October, we invite all freshmen to additional introductory training for the 1st year - for them to know what's what, and representatives of majors to "Ideal Class Representative." October is also when students can pick up the Planner specially designed for them - a free academic calendar with a circulation of approximately 4000 copies. We close the winter semester with the "UEK Mentors" project, during which we award the best lecturers who received the most votes from students in the popularity plebiscite. At the Forum of Economic Universities, we participate in projects such as the "Economic Knowledge Test", "Economic Bridges" and the "Transekonomik". In May, we invite students to the Juwenalia UEK, which consists of several events, co-organized by two other student organizations (NZS and ESN), topped out the main concert.
