Gabriel Behr

Gabriel Behr has a strong background in finance and leadership roles, with extensive experience in various industries. Gabriel is currently the Chief Financial Officer at StudentCrowd since November 2019. Prior to this, from July 2019 to January 2023, Gabriel served as a Board member and Chair of Keystone Ltd, the development arm of Longhurst Group. In September 2020, they became the Chief Financial Officer at Valeo Management Europe, where they worked until February 2022. Gabriel's previous roles include being the CFO of Liberty Living from November 2016 to October 2018, and the CFO of University Partnerships Programme from August 2008 to October 2016. Gabriel also held the position of Divisional Financial Controller at ENER-G Holdings Plc from July 2006 to July 2008, and Head Of Finance at Oak Park Construction from January 2004 to May 2005. Gabriel started their career as an Audit professional at Wilder Coe Ltd from February 1997 to August 2000. Throughout their career, Gabriel has successfully managed financial operations, led restructuring efforts, and played key roles in mergers and acquisitions.

Gabriel Behr attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 1995 to 1996, where they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in International Political Economy. Prior to that, they studied at Queen Mary University of London from 1992 to 1995, graduating with a First Class BA with two prizes in Economics and History. Gabriel completed their secondary education at The Manchester Grammar School from 1985 to 1992. Gabriel also holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the ICAEW, obtained in 2000.
