Khaled Elmalawany has a diverse work experience in various organizations. From 2019 to present, they have been involved with the Biomedical Engineering Students' Society, starting as an Events Commissioner and later becoming the Vice President of Events. In 2020, they joined Students Offering Support as the Vice President of Business Development. In 2018, they had multiple roles including being a Project Manager at Project 90 UCalgary, a Tennis Officiator at Tennis Canada, a Sales Associate at Banana Republic, and a Coder at Schulich Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Khaled also served as a Youth Leader for the Immigrant Youth Capacity Project Building Project. Furthermore, they held different positions within the University of Calgary Students' Union, including Schulich School of Engineering Representative, SLC member, Student-at-Large on the President's Consultative Task Force, and the Undergraduate Research Symposium Working Group. Additionally, Khaled co-founded and served as the President of Tutoring Buddy, a non-profit program that supports community youth in achieving academic success.
Khaled Elmalawany completed their high school education at Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School from 2015 to 2018. Khaled obtained their High School Diploma during this time. Subsequently, they pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Engineering at the University of Calgary from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification in Standard First Aid, CPR, and AED level HCP from the Canadian Red Cross in November 2017.
