Meghan Reiss has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Meghan began their career as a Young Heroes Service Leader at City Year Seattle/King County in 2002. Meghan then worked as a Building Refugee Women and Youth for a Change AmeriCorps*Vista Leader at the International Rescue Committee from 2003 to 2004. In 2005, they served as the Voyagers Youth Adventure Camp Director at the YMCA of Greater Boston.
From 2006 to 2011, Meghan held multiple roles at Strong Women, Strong Girls, including Director of Program Operations, South Florida Launch Director, Boston Program Manager, and National Director of Programs, Process Improvement, and Knowledge. During their time there, they developed the organization's infrastructure, managed HR processes, and cultivated partnerships.
In 2013, Meghan joined Generation Citizen as the Director of Programming, where they set the national program strategy and managed local staff to ensure programmatic success. Meghan then moved to Baroo Pet Care in 2015 and served as the COO, where they created infrastructure, managed day-to-day operations, and led the restructuring of the core business model.
In 2018, Meghan joined Curriculum Associates as the People Operations Manager, working closely with the Chief People Officer to create HR strategy and enhance employee experience. Meghan revamped the onboarding process and directed enhancements to HR technology platforms.
Most recently, Meghan worked at Studion, starting as the Director of People Operations in 2019 and then transitioning to the role of Director of Global People Operations in 2022. In this position, they oversee global HR operations but specific start and end dates are not provided.
Meghan Reiss holds a Master of Arts degree in Sustainable International Development from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Meghan also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies & Women Studies from Providence College, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Prior to college, Meghan attended Springfield High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to their educational qualifications, they have obtained various certifications, including a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online and a Certified Agile Leadership for Teams (CAL-T) certification from Scrum Alliance. Meghan has also completed multiple professional development programs and courses in areas such as HR, leadership, and behavior management.
