Alexandra Ciubotaru

Alexandra Ciubotaru has a diverse work experience starting in 2013. Alexandra began as an Associate Editor for "Art and The Mannequins," where they edited an anthology of short stories and poems for a charity project. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Shop Assistant at the University of Salford Students' Union. In 2013, they also became a Student Ambassador at the University of Salford, where they provided tours, phone support, and managed communications in the marketing office.

In 2014, Alexandra became a Salford Languages Administrator at the University of Salford, where they managed Erasmus activities, maintained the Erasmus website section, and developed relationships with partner universities. Alexandra continued this role until 2015.

From 2015 to 2018, Alexandra worked as a Creative English Tutor as a self-employed professional. Alexandra utilized storytelling techniques to teach English to students of various ages, including children and adults in corporate positions.

In 2016, they worked as a Translator for Editura Next Publishing. From 2018 to 2019, Alexandra co-founded and worked as a Writer and Editor for Revista Satya, a literary magazine published in Romanian. Alexandra curated themed issues and launched the magazine at a prominent art gallery in Bucharest.

From 2019 to 2020, Alexandra worked as a Quest Designer for Questo, where they designed quests with historical or art-related themes. Alexandra created the fictional storylines, provided factual information about landmarks, and developed in-quest games and puzzles.

Starting in 2020, Alexandra worked as a freelance Creative Writer for Questo, designing quests with fictional stories, factual information, and games. Currently, they are a Content Writer for Studyportals, where they write well-researched articles on higher education, focusing on making the content engaging and fun for prospective students.

Alexandra Ciubotaru has a diverse education history. Alexandra obtained their Master's degree in Art History and Philosophy of Culture from the University of Bucharest, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended the University of Salford from 2011 to 2014, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Creative Writing. In their earlier academic years, Alexandra attended the "Hariclea Darclee" High School of Art from 2007 to 2011, where they received a Diploma of Baccalaureate with a remarkable score of 97.5% in the field of Design and Architecture.

Alexandra also holds a Wordscope Writing Workshops Certificate of Distinction, which they obtained from the University of Salford in December 2012.
