Regional Sales Manager - Northwest

Job description

The Regional Sales Manager will execute the sales process to existing and potential new customers; to provide
after-sale support and customer service obligations as well as to interface and collaborate with internal Stuppy
departments to ensure the execution of the delivery and installation process.

Essential Functions

  • Contact potential customers via phone, email, and in-person (cold/warm calls, trade shows) to identify opportunities with both new and existing customers in the commercial and educational market.

  • Create quote, proposals, and draft specifications to establish all product requirements and needs for the customers.

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to customers.

  • Enter and maintain sales data, communication stages, and opportunity status within the CRM system.

  • Determine the value of prospective sales while preserving an appropriate gross margin and net profit

  • Partner with internal departments to prepare proposals and transfer new orders into operations.

  • Assist project managers and customer support to ensure the delivery, movement and installation of products and services.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • 3-5 years of sales experience preferably in greenhouse sales, horticulture or technical sales.

  • BS degree in business, engineering or other relevant discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Expert knowledge of the sales process while maintain a high level of integrity pertaining to all Stuppy processes and values.

  • Familiarity with territory preferred, ability to evaluate possible market share, territory profit and selling opportunities.

  • Intermediate math skills, with the ability to read construction plan, bid specifications and other technical documents.

  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with prospects and customers.

  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office modules.

They may be frequently exposed to loud noises and bright light. Vision perception is normal for administrative duties.
